Webmaster's Editorial

It is the opinion of the webmaster of this site that the overall success of the ICHS Band is due to excellent leadership and direction by the Directors and Assistant Directors of Indian Creek High and Junior High Schools.

It is through their guidance, dedication, leadership, and coaching that the band has increased from 29 band members to approximately 150 in six years.  One just has to watch the band at any performance to see that the band members genuinely enjoy what they are doing.  That doesn’t mean it isn’t hard work and sometimes stressful.  Nevertheless, the ICHS Band is the place to be.

While the ICHS Band is also supported by many others (Band Boosters, parents, and friends), it is still the day-in and day-out leadership of the Directors and Assistant Directors that will continue to make the Band successful and help students to enjoy being involved.
